TAIEX assistance is available for employees of public administrations and local self-governance institutions, Members of Parliament and civil servants working in Parliament and Legislative Councils, professional and trade unions and associations, judicial and law enforcement agencies.

TAIEX is not available for individuals and private businesses.

If your institution meets the eligibility criteria above you may apply for TAIEX support by completing one of the applications below in English:

• Workshops

Interpretion main aspects of the EU acquis for the society in large;

• Study Tours

Visits of the officials from the beneficiary countries to the EU member states to study the practical aspects for implementation of the EU acquis and its effective enforcement;

• Expert missions

Interpretation of the EU acquis and its approximation with national legislation, as well as technical assistance on enforcement of envisaged legal acts.

There are no deadlines for submitting TAIEX requests, which means that interested persons may submit a proposal whenever there is need for such a technical assistance. The application is submitted to the Project Administration Agency of the Ministry of Economy (PAO) by the focal point of the respective public institution. The PAO reviews the application, whenever necessary discusses it with the applicant and submits to the European Commission for approval. In case the application does not meet the TAIEX eligibility criteria the PAO will turn down the application providing a written explanation.
