EU Delegation to Armenia has announced call for proposals for the following Twinning projects in Armenia.
1) "Strengthening the Ministry of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia in introduction of a system of integrated Pollution Prevention and Control" - Ministry of Nature Protection;
2) "Support to the State Revenue Committee for strengthening of Customs control procedures and enforcement in Armenia according to the best practice in the EU member states" - State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia;
3) "Strengthening the Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in the Republic of Armenia" - Ministry of Economy of the Repulic of Armenia,
4) Harmonization with EU standards and institution building of the State Inspectorate of Protection of Markets and Consumer Rights - Ministry of Economy of the Repulic of Armenia,
5) Strengthening of animal origin food and feed safety control in Armenia - Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia.
TWINNING is an institutional building tool which provides direct exchange of specific national experience in a specific field in EU Legislation implementation between a Public Administration in a BC and the equivalent institution in an EU member state. Twinning procedures in Armenia are regulated by the Government Decision No. 605-N and by Common Twinning Manual and its Annexes.
